Sleepy Hollow Gets the Axe + Nicole Beharie Unbothered

Fox Cancels Sleepy Hollow

While Fox was busy canceling the longstanding catastrophe known as Sleepy Hollow, its former leading lady, actress Nicole Beharie, was spotted out shaking her groove thang at Naturi Naughton’s baby shower. As I’m sure you’ve all heard by now, Fox finally took out the trash, canceling the sci-fi drama just one season after it unceremoniously killed off the national treasure we all know as Grace Abigail Mills.

Ichabbie Hugs it Out in Season 3 Opener

Sleepy Hollow and its Ichabbie hugs- they have practically become the stuff of legends. It was the Ichabbie hug in Sin Eater that first grabbed my attention and eventually led to me becoming the filthy shipper trash I am today.

Follow-up hugs in Bad Blood and This is War would go on to become just as addicting among Ichabbie fans, so much so writers and producers of the show have actively begun shipper baiting fans using the hugs for ratings.

Emmy consideration is nothing new to Taraji who scored a nod for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie back in 2011 for her Lifetime film Taken from Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story. Howard on the other hand says an Emmy nod for anyone affiliated with the show, or the show in general, would be “Icing on the cake of an already amazing television experience.”

Via the Nerdist, before Sleepy Hollow returns to the air this fall it will be proceeded by a four-issue mini-series titled “Sleepy Hollow: Providence,” which will reportedly give fans a sneak peak at season three’s storyline.
