So here it is guys, your first look at Vivica A. Fox as she appears on next week’s episode of Empire. As previously reported, Vivica has been booked for a multi-episode arc playing the role of Candace, Cookie’s estranged sister. Word around the water cooler is that Candace and Lucious knew each other intimately back in the day (but you ain’t heard that from me).
Vivica is set to appear in two episodes before Empire goes on hiatus. My Bad Parts airs November 18th and Sinned Against airs the week after that. I’m hoping Fox makes previews available to bloggers, because I am beyond excited to see Taraji P. Henson, Vivica Fox and Tasha Smith all on my screen at the same time.
Actress Vivica A. Fox is joining the cast of Empire in a recurring role. The Kill Bill actress is the latest high profile celebrity to be added to the show’s ever expanding season two line-up of characters.
Vivica tweeted the news to her followers this morning, but didn’t give many details. We did a bit more digging ourselves however, and discovered Vivica will be playing Cookie’s (Taraji P. Henson) estranged sister Lynette.
Brown Sista beauties, Angell Conwell and Vivica Fox, both celebrated their birthday’s over the weekend. Angell, who turned 27, partied with friends, Melyssa Ford and Melissa De Sousa, at the LAX Club in Hollywood, California.
Vivica Fox on the other hand rang in her 45th birthday Canadian style- at the Muzik Night Club in Toronto. The actress partied with club owner Zlatko Starkivski, as well as sprinter Donovan Bailey.
Monique Lhuillier gowns, Zac Posen dresses, Cartier jewels, and Lorraine Schwartz diamonds. What could make any celeb-fashion event better? — Music! Condé Nast’s 5th Annual ‘Fashion Rocks’ concert took place last night @ NYC’s Radio City Music Hall. Celebeauties like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Solange, Mariah, Mary J, and much more performed, but the biggest attraction was, of course, the fashion.
One of my favorite actresses, Vivica A. Fox, was spotted in Hollywood today doing a bit of shopping at H. Lorenzo’s on Sunset Boulevard. The actress is prepping her new VH-1 reality show, Glam God with Vivica Fox. The premise is that 12 contestants will be asked to compete in challenges that will test their knowledge of fashion and style trends as they create the perfect look from head to toe. Those who fall short of creating that perfect look will have their style license revoked (At least that’s how VH1 puts it.). The winner will walk away with $100,000 and the chance to style a celebrity for a major Hollywood event, as well as photo spread in US Weekly Magazine. Glam God premieres tomorrow (August 21) at 10 p.m. on VH1.
