Seriously I think Diddy is just cool with people on his label. We used to see him with Lil Kim all the time and they weren’t messing around. I also remember seeing some sort of reality documentary on Diddy way back some years ago and he had one of the girls from Total living with him. Not Keyshia or the real skinny one but the short haired tomboyish one. It’s like that with many urban record labels. Diddy is chilling with her nothing more and nothing less.

Do you ever talk about Oprah? Halle Berry cause I haven’t seen posts about them here whereas other blogs have news about them all the time.

I want to take the time to give CW’s “The Game” a little free publicity. Check the show out on Mondays following “Girlfriends”, it is one of the best Afri Amer shows I’ve seen in a long long time and Pooch “Derwin” Hall is soooo fine. Tia Mowry can get on my nerves but lately her character has been REALLY easy to relate to.
Also “Lincoln Heights ” on ABC Family is a great family show to watch together. I love watching us on television in honest, non-stereotypes roles. :banana:

The Game is the best show of color on right now! It is so real and so true to African American relationships and family! Next week Girl Melanie (love that name!) has to call her parents and that is going to be a MESS! I can’t wait to see what is going to pop off!
And Lincoln Heights is good but it is taking me a little while to get into the show. My mom told me about it and I have trouble remembering when it comes on!

Nia there is nothing wrong with being 30 and single. I am 27 I’m not single but my boyfriend will be 22 next week. I was freaking out about that when we first met because I am 5 years older than him but it’s been 14 months and he has proven to me that you fall in love at the craziest times. Do you go to places that you like (not dance clubs) but like bookstores, museums, coffee bars? I met mine at the museum and I had decided to go there on whim. I was having a “me” day and after walking in the park I decided to shower and go to the museum. I can’t wait to tell our kids and grandkids about how we met. Ok enough about me (as u can see I can be a bit self centered) but anyway I suggest going to places you like without the mindset of meeting a potential mate. Become comfortable with the fact that you are single by choice and that when love comes it will be the right time. P.S. I LOVE THE GAME!!!!:dance2:

Nia I am 35 and starting out all over again. Life can be a b.itch when things don’t turn out the way you expect. Luckily for me I am smarter than I was when I entered my toxic relationship and know better now. I look forward to the future, but starting life over again at my age with three children can be frightening. I am excited and scared at the same time.

The Game is the show! Melanie (twin) used to get on my nerves with the heavy e-nun-ci-a-ting, but she’s softening up a little. Turning into a real freak too…and I’m sure that lifestyle can turn someone into on. The show is great… Girlfriends has gotten tired and Lynn looks 45.

Someone mentioned more serious topics or something like that- I write when I am moved to. Something needs to really be ticking me off in order for me to vent. I really need to be in a certain zone but when I am, I can really put it all out there. You can read previous article below or in the Whatever category. All my previous essays are there, including the most hated “Should Beyonce Be Punished Be Punished For Being Pretty Light Skin Girl- for those of you who think the color issue should be handled here. I wrote that when this blog first started and the post got so out of hand I removed all comments and closed it down. I may re-open it one day and allow posts if folks know how to act and disagree without being racistly disagreeable.

Thank you for the post Stephanie, from everything I read CD didn’t get much positives remarks as I thought. Bath&Body Works and the drugstore products got way more better responses. I guess I’ll stick with cvs and go to bath & body works more often atleast they have real good products and reasonable prices. Again Thanks.

I watched Keyshia Cole’s show last night. I feel bad for her because she is trying so hard to get back what she lost in her childhood. Her mother and her family in general. Although it was really nice of her to let her family come to atlanta to live with her, I don’t see it going well at all. First of all she asked them not to have men in the house, they have an issue with that rule. I don’t think the rule is too strict. If a man really cares about them he would find somewhere to go for them to be alone. Nefferteria especially should be carefull about men around her children. Having a man around someone else’s house should be the last thing on both their minds. I wish Keyshia the best but sometimes people don’t change and I hope she is emotionally equipped to deal with the aftermath.
