Tamar Braxton’s New Song

While out doing a bit of promotion for her new WeTV spin-off series “Tamar & Vince,” singer Tamar Braxton stopped by ABC News Radio where she spontaneously broke out in song, giving fans a preview of her first single in over a decade, “Love & War.”

According to Tamar, her upcoming sophomore album is her best music to date. “Honestly, these are great records, and I am not just saying that because they’re mine. If they were not mine I would want them to be mine. I truly feel like this is my best work yet,” she told ABC.

Tamar went on to speak about her disappointment in having the single’s release date pushed back, but says she still expects it come out “sometime this year.”

Tamar’s husband, record producer Vincent Herbert, explained the pushback, saying: “We just had to regroup and move some things around…. but it’s definitely still coming out this year.”

In the meantime, check out a quick a cappella version Tamar was able to put out.

  1. Tamar can sing so I look forward to hearing her song in its entirety.

Nice to see the Braxton sisters doing big things. They deserve success.

  2. I have grown to love tamars voice. She sounds like a lil smitch of mariah with some huskiness.

  3. Tamar is talented but I always feel like–maybe she needs to clear her throat everytime I hear her sing. I am a fan though just sayin’ THAT was not HoT!
