Taraji P. Henson Lands New Role

Actress Taraji P. Henson has landed another high profile role. The 40 year old Oscar nominee, probably best known for her role in John Singleton’s 2001 film “Baby Boy,” has been cast by JJ Abrams to play the role of a police detective in his new CBS drama “Person of Interest.” Taraji will play opposite Michael Emerson, whose character is an eccentric billionaire who hires Taraji to help fight crime in New York City. The show’s male lead has not been cast yet, but word is he may be African American too.
