Taraji P. Henson for Mac Viva Glam
Taraji P. Henson has landed her first solo Mac Viva Glam campaign. The 46-year old actress was joined by her on-screen son, actor Jussie Smollet, in last year’s campaign, which was inspired by Taraji’s Empire character, Cookie Lyon.
This year’s campaign, however, is all about Taraji’s own personal style, and features what the actress calls “a sophisticated palette capable of easily going from the boardroom to the bedroom.”
Taraji chose to channel Diana Ross for her disco-inspired campaign, which sees her rocking little else besides stiletto nails and a long curly fro.
The sophisticated palette Taraji speaks of goes on sale next month and features a matching lipstick and lipglass. Viva Glam Taraji P. Henson 2 is a frosted coppery brown color retailing for $17 in the U.S. and $19 in Canada.
As always, 100% of all sales from Via Glam lipsticks are donated to AIDS research and prevention charities.
