Teyana Talyor to Star in VH1’s ‘The Breaks’

Looks like Teyana Taylor’s show stopping performance in Kanye West’s Fade video is paying off in spades. Via published reports, the Google Me singer has just been offered a recurring role in the upcoming VH1 hip-hop series The Breaks. The show is set to premiere in 2017 and already has a cast that includes Afton Williamson, Russell Hornsby, Wood Harris, Tristan Wild and De’Adre Aziza.

Teyana’s previous acting experience includes Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, Madea’s Big Happy Family, The Start Up, and most recently, Brotherly Love, which co-starred Keke Palmer and Romeo Miller.

  1. Kudos to her. I don’t get VH1 or any Viacom channels, but I wish her well in this new endeavor.
