I want to take this time out to thank a special person to all of us. She came into our lives a season or so ago and every since then she has been representing for all the loud ass ignorant Black women out there. This thanks goes to … Nene Leakes from Real Housewives Of Atlanta. Thank you Ne-Ne for recently assisting in prolonging the stereotype that Black women are loud, aggressive, combative individuals. Thank you for helping to further create the illusion that we are also unable to have a disagreement with someone without resorting to childish name calling, yelling, and other bafoonery. Thank you for refusing to be the bigger person and not responding to Michael Lohan’s a**hole comments, thereby missing the golden opportunity of making him look more like the fool than you. Which could have been easily accomplished by you just smiling and allowing dribble to run out of his mouth. My mother wants to say a special thank you for helping to spread the image of pending coonery and porch monkey antics so far and wide that every Asian in nail shops across America are automatically defensive towards Black women before we are even in the door (ofcourse they will still take our money but I digress). Also, thank you for adding the special touch of waiting to perform your very special breed of foolery on The Insider, a program that airs on TV’s around the U.S. Thank you for allowing a little bit of your beauty and ladylike qualities to be taken away with your antics. Thank you NeNe Leakes, for assisting in keeping the stereotype of the angry Black woman alive and well.

Shame. When women, especially black women degrade themselves on tv it upsets me. We have come such a LONG way. We wanted our rihts so baddly and here we are on videos shaking our asses and interviews showing our asses.
We have to do better.
Wait. I’m lost. Yeah she’s loud. Everyone knows that, but didn’t he insult her too by saying “go promote Nutri-system”?! LMAO. That was rude!
what trip me out is you are a toxic parent lol but it was funny when he said “your out in la you wouldnt be saying this is i were there” what he was gonna slap the s*it outta her lol.
@ljknight-I have neva watched the show(tired of the brainswashing reality shows) but i seen clips and interviews of her and(shaking head) you are absolutely correct. THis may be foul but she actually looks like the stereotype.
and she had the nerve to call kandi ghetto, smh
OMG… that was really bad!! We all know that the Lohans are having issues with their daughter. But NENE was out of line; she had no right to insult Michael Lohan by calling him a toxic parent.
Nene is Nene, I’m somewhat (just a tad bit) appreciate that she has remain who she’s always been (despite all that’s been said about her) because why should any of us give a damn about what ppl who actually do sterotype think? They’re ignorant if they believe that ALL Black women are loud or ALL Black women have big butts… they truly are stupids.
Though, I think Nene be doing the most at times, Sheree` gets out of hand also.
While I disagree with her behavior , she did make a point..He doesnt have to publically say negative things about his daughter…whether they are true or not
Poor Khandi got branded as the ghetto girl, by NeNe (ghetto name) smh, tsk, tsk, tsk
I dont know what happened and i don’t care nene has always been loud and obnoxious and ghetto yet Many of you used to speak about her very nicely what did she do now that was so different than what she used to do before?
Thank you for this post. I completely agree with it.
With reality TV being almost all there is anymore on television, I think it is making those on these shows think they are really more popular and important than they are. I saw a headline the other day that said something like Reality Stars Demands Outta Control- so true. It is also true that the public created this as well by watching the crazy mess. Like why is Chance at Love (MTV) even on television??
THANK YOU KNIGHT FOR SAYING IT!!!
When I saw Anderson Cooper endorsing Nene the first season, the complete opposite of Michelle Obama, I knew they were going to catapult these housewives into as many households as possible.
They are a JOKE!
All of them except Kandi.
But, white people are going to believe what they want, these women and images don’t help at all! When it trickles down and we disagree in our everyday normal lives, some people will expect those images and treat us unfairly with assumptions and preconceived notions.
*sighs*
Nene disappointed me greatly when in the season finale she went after Khandi, introducing their topic of conversation with, “I didn’t like how you treated me; I think you should apologize.” <—-HUH? WTF? Word?
SMH.
Yeah, Thank you Nene.
But forreal, she should be ashamed. I would not even want to be friends with someone like that. She is so fake, all she wants to do is have camera time and be dramatic. She will say stuff like, “Why you didn’t just come to me and talk to me” when she will get mad and be childish about everything. If I was kim or kandi I would’v snatched her wig off.
@ KANYADE
I agree. At first I was thinking, Nene can’t be that bad, maybe the camera men are just cutting certain parts of what she says but it’s the same through the whole season, like why should Kandi apolagize. That was Kims song and I would want her loud behind on my song either.
NeNe is so pretentious! She is such a broke poser. She seems very catty and jealous when the other “housewives” get some attention. She has to be the center of everything. Who does she think she is? I think she overdoes her act for more airtime. Controversy and loudmouthed black women get attention.
what’s killing me about her loud talk is what truly do she know of lindsey…. i could almost overlook her loudness if she were a close personal friend of the lohans and she knew the insides and working of that family but she does not. so for her to say he is a toxic parent who is only out to profit off his daughther is ridiculous…. hell truth of the matter seeing recent pictures of lindsey someone needed to say something and if his taking out helps get her the help she needs keep talking. nene his irriatated me this whole season and i will beyond happy when her loudness fades into obscurity and no one knows who she is…
@ ANGELIA28
I think you are right, she is jelous. And Lisa is too. Why would Kim or anyone else need her of all people to sell a song? Nene would be the reason I stay away.
i’m glad somebody spoke on this heathan!!! it makes no damn since how much of a stereotypical black woman she is. it’s sad because my favorites on the show are kim and kandi. they are the only one’s who seem to have any sense most of the time!! well lisa isn’t bad either, but i just wish nene would go away!
Some women act just like Nene and some act like Michelle Obama – we are a melting pot just like other races – stop blaming one person for stereotypes.
I need Brownsista to step off “all black people are alike” syndrome. It’s a downer. We don’t have to be alike to be appreciated.
@Fashionista
Thanks for pointing out what Mr. Lohan said.
NeNe is not the only black woman that keeps these stereotypes alive. What about Toya (from Tiny and Toya) and Frankie and Neffie? Yeah, there are alot of them out there. What about the ones on here and in the office next to you? I know one at my job right now. I used to be one until my momma sat me down and told me, “you get more flies with honey than sh*t.” I was much younger, heading to college with a bad attitude. We have to do better as a whole. Until we examine our reasoning for being so defensive we will always be this way.
The problem with NeNe is that she allowed her popularity to go to her head and started acting like a fool.
i agree with what she said but not how she said it. But it seems as though she was talking to him the way he was talking to her. they both were loud, they both were screaming and then both was name calling so why does NENE get the bad rap. i dont agree with the way she acts but i wont place her into the fire by her self.Yes the stereotypes are out there but damn we do have a black first lady and we still care about what “they ” think about us.. Some of us dont know how to act point blank and when they do these reality shows they dont go and choose the most educated sisters they choose the most entertaining sister so i am just going to file this one under typical tv reality chick… she dont represent me and anyone i know!
Ok, granted Nene was loud, but I must agree he is a toxic parent. If his daughter is in trouble why go to the media to discuss her. Go to his daughters mother and see if they can help her. He has been in the news in the past talking about his daughters problems. Nene may have been wrong to go after him the way she did, but he is TOXIC! His daughter refuse to speak with him,in the past he tried to get a reality show started using his daughter. He is a white Joe Jackson!
