“Think Like a Man” to Become a TV Series

THINK LIKE A MAN TO BECOME A TV SERIESAccording to published reports, the Think Like a Man film franchise is being developed by Fox to become a hour-long comedy series. Steve Harvey, whose best-selling how-to book Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man, was the basis for the films, will reportedly act as executive producer, alongside Keith Merryman and David Newman. The duo penned the script for both films and will do the same for the pilot episode, which is set to begin principle shooting on location next month in Atlanta, Georgia.

And while no casting decisions have yet to be announced, let me just throw Meagan Good’s name on out there. She starred in both films and is already under contract with Fox. Her sci-fi drama Minority Report ends after this season, which means she definitely has the time.

I’m a huge Meagan fan and after two failed television series, I’d like to see her make it. I think this type of show is more in keeping with what people expect from her, and therefore would be more likely to tune in.

Should Think Like a Man get a series order from Fox, it would more than likely hit the airwaves in the fall of 2016.

Stay tuned…
