Thursday Night Ratings: 11-05-2015

SLEEPY HOLLOW CANCELLEDWhile CBS’ The Big Bang Theory is always Thursday night’s highest rated show, it is ABC and their TGIT line-up that always comes out the night’s biggest winner.

Thanks to Shondaland and her trifecta of female-led shows (Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, How to Get Away with Murder), ABC was once again able to top all other major networks in both viewership (8 million) and demo (2.1).

On the other end of the spectrum, however, is Fox and their woeful line-up that consists of only Bones and Sleepy Hollow. Bones was of course solid. It’s been on the air for 12 seasons and could probably go another 12 thanks to its loyal fanbase.

Sleepy Hollow on the other hand is dead set on alienating its fanbase, and if last night’s ratings are any indication, they’re doing one hell of a job. Sleepy’s crossover event with Bones last week helped boost the show’s viewership to 4.5 million and its demo to 1.1. Last night’s episode, however, was a huge step backward, losing 1.5 million viewers and slipping to a 0.9 in demo.

As always, Sleepy does well in delayed viewing, so we’ll have to wait and see what the final numbers are. In the meantime, I heard the star of last night’s episode was Abbie Mills’ new coiffure. I did not watch, but I did peep Abbie’s new do in an interview she did some weeks back. Nicole is such a beauty and I totally love her. It’s my hope that by the time Sleepy is put to rest, Nicole will be an even hotter commodity and someone like Shonda Rhimes will rush in to offer her the show of a lifetime.

Anyway, if you’re one of the 3 million people still tuning in to Sleepy Hollow, you can check out stills below from next week’s episode titled The Art of War.

Didn’t catch Nicole/Abbie’s new do last night, check it out below.

  1. How has Bones stayed on air for so long and what is up with the lead female’s speaking voice? I watched last week’s episode and it was painful listening to her speak.

  2. I cannot stand the lead on BONES. Her voice is EXCRUCIATING. Not only that, but I never cared for the show.

I was a bad fan this past Thursday. I watched “The Blacklist” instead of “Sleepy Hollow”. But I’ll catch up.
