Toni Braxton Releases Deadwood Video

First Look: Deadwood Video by Toni Braxton

Singer Toni Braxton has just unveiled the video for her new single Deadwood. The track is the first to be released from her upcoming Sex & Cigarettes album, which is tentatively set for an early 2018 release. Toni re-united with longtime creative director Billie Woodruff for the visual, which features the singer performing before a black-and-white backdrop of cityscapes and sexy men.

Toni’s upcoming album will mark her first solo release since 2010’s Pulse. In 2014 she teamed up with producer Babyface for the collaborative effort Love, Marriage & Divorce. That album spawned two modest hits for the duo (Hurt You + Where Did We Go Wrong) and a 2015 Grammy Award for Best R&B Album.

Since then Toni has dabbled in some of everything, including acting. She’s worked with Lifetime on several projects, including the Antoinette Tuff story, Faith Under Fire, which is set to air in November.

Toni will also be hitting the road next year to promote Sex & Cigarettes. She recently hinted at possibly touring with all her sisters again.

  1. Toni and Tamar should have long toured together. With them both releasing new music so close together they should combine fan support and hit the road. Focus on vocals and promote it via social media. Gotta stick together is you wanna make it these days.

  2. I love Toni to the moon and back, but I’m just not a fan of this song. I will still support the album but I hope the other songs are better than this. The visual of this video was decent though considering how disappointing the song is. Wishing her the absolute best though.

  3. After a few listens it’s not a bad song. Give it another try guys.

  4. im gonna buy the album and hope the others tracks are better. i did buy the single though

  5. The song grew on me too. It’s not Tonis best, but I can play it while relaxing around the house cleaning or reading. It’s smooth and laid back.
