Toni Braxton Sued

With the third season of her WeTv reality series “Braxton Family Values” set to debut later this month, singer Toni Braxton finds herself embroiled in a lawsuit concerning promotional work done for the show.

National Promotions & Advertising (NPA) is suing Toni and WeTv claiming they were contracted to put up 4,300 promotional billboards across the country and were never paid once the work was done.

NPA wants $57,000, of which Toni says $0 is the amount she intends to pay. According to Toni’s lawyer, though the singer acts as an executive producer of the show, she is not in charge of marketing and never entered into a contract with NPA or anyone else associated with the company.

Toni briefly spoke about the lawsuit via Twitter, simply saying: “I don’t like being lied on! Especially about things that having nothing to do with me.”

Look for Toni to probably speak on the lawsuit more when she appear on “The Talk” August 6th.

  1. Why would We/TV not pay or make a statement to clear Toni’s name?
