  1. Love her! Tracey is a great comedic actress! Her timing is always on point! I think it shows alot of talent when a female can play a lead role without the help of a man in a comedy. That speaks volumes. She reminds me of Lucy. Before there was Martin, Will, or George Jefferson. Lucille Ball showed women how to be attractive and funny at the same time. Wish her luck. I will be watching!

  2. I LOVE Tracee and I hope this will be a good show because she deserves it. Honestly,I dont want it to be all that funny. If its funny…make it “The Game” or “Girlfriends” funny, not House of Payne funny. Anyway, I support Tracee in everything. I just like the chick, plain and simple.

  3. Tracee is an excellent actress and extremely funny. love her unique sense of style, she’s a boho fasionista. i will watch the show, but fear that THOPain eekness will somehow kill this show. sorry, but TP sitcoms leave a bad taste in my mouth. with that being said, i’ll still watch because Tracee is phenomenal. Well her mother is the original Queen.

  4. @ BOHWE isn’t it crazy? Her mother is the Original Queen, Diva, Fashionista, whateva you want to call her but Tracee has a charm of her own that is so natural that I sometimes forget she is Diana’s daughter. She also seem very down to earth which also makes it hard to believe she is Diana’s daughter Lol.

  5. I love Tracee and will most likely be watching.

  6. I can definitely see her in this role. Love her!

  7. Yay! I love her! Can’t wait…

  8. Sitcoms are double-edged sword. While it provides actors steady income it also typecasts. Breaking free from one sitcom role to go to another or a movie, is a huge challenge that a lot of actors cannot navigate. Possibly only if they are not the star of the sitcom. I think I see the same thing happening with Jill Jones etc. While I think Tracee is a beautiful and talented actress and can’t wait to see her in something else, it’s gonna take a minute for me not to see her as Joan in anyting she is in (especially since I watch my GF DVD collection regiously). Oftentimes it takse the actors a minute too. Good luck Tracee.

  9. Ironically, I have been googling her for a week now…seeking fashion inspiration!!! I can’t wait to see her…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE HER!!!

  10. She is damn talented. Love her.

  11. BLACKSISTA- I TOTALLY AGREE WITH EVERYTHING. TRACEE IS HER OWN WOMAN, WITH HER OWN UNIQUE STYLE. NOW, DIANA ROSS IS THE QUEEN, BUT TRACEE IS HER OWN LADY. IT’S AMAZING THAT SHE WAS ABLE TO BE HER OWN PERSON, BECAUSE DIANA ROSS IS SUCH A FORCE TO RECKON WITH.

  12. I love Tracee. But BET and two of Tyler Perry’s former writers? Really?

Tyler’s TV sitcoms are terrible. They are nothing but stereotype fests. I think Tracee deserves better than this. But I know it’s hard for Black actresses out there.

  13. I’m glad they gave her a sitcom

  14. we all know diana ross is like, really tracee?lol. but at the end of the day TP is putting black actresses to work. something that hollywood isn’t doing. hollywood is probably more racist than we have any idea, and black celebs probably face racism the likes won’t be discuss for fear of losing the little jobs they do get. let’s just pray that tp can move away from the ghetto down home genre and produce quality work. well atleast he didn’t make janet into a ghetto caricature in wdigm movies.

  15. People may have said the same thing about Motown during its hay day. We all have to start somewhere to pave the road for more commercial success. However I prefer “black” raw and unique nothing like our counterparts. TP’s work has its good and bad (he needs to realize that the black audience is alot more sophiticated then he think)
