Some say, “diamonds are a girl’s best friend.” — I say, “shoes are a girl’s best friend!” This post has been highly requested. I hope you ladies enjoy!
(L-R) 2nd Row: Versace; Steve Madden; Ame Noire
My fave style of boots this season are the ones with some extra added hardware. Even if you’re not an edgy kind of girl, these boots make it so easy to pull off that “rocker-chic” look. Try a tough studded pair, or one with a metal heel/platform.
Budget-friendly: If Versace is out of your budget, these black/silver Steve Madden ankle boots are just as fierce! They’ll run you about $100, but if you’re lucky (like I was this past weekend), hit up your nearest Marshall’s Department Store where they’re on sale for about $40!
(L-R) 2nd Row: Steve Madden; Guess; Klassiq
As always, wedges are a great alternative option to high-heels. Wedge booties will still give you the added height and dressy-feel, with less pain and stress on your “dogs.” This season’s lace-ups range in style and color…
Designer alternative (1): …One of my favorite styles are the leather ankle boots by Guess. They’re only $230, compared to the identical high-end Balmain design ($1200)!
Designer alternative (2): On an even tighter budget, yet still craving that designer look? — These “Combo” booties($40) from Klassiq are the perfect combination of suede and snake skin material. And not to mention, affordable. Compared to GUESS by Marciano’s Lia heels ($240), these designer alternative versions are a steal!
(L-R) 2nd Row: Diesel; Christian Louboutin; Jimmy Choo
Whether real, faux, sherling, or pony hair, fur and fur-accented boots are no doubt the trendiest styles of this winter season! And, flat boots have just as much flavor as the heeled kind. I love them! They’re perfect for those quick errand runs, and on days you don’t feel like dressing up…or dressing down.
