Tweet has unveiled the cover art for her new album Charlene. The project also has an official release date of January 22, 2016.
The album is Tweet’s first full length project since the 2005 release of It’s Me Again. However, a five track EP titled Simply Tweet, was released in 2013, and marked the first original music fans had gotten from the singer in almost a decade.
“Words can’t express how much I am looking forward to my fans hearing what I have been working on,” Tweet recently told reporters. “If they missed me, half as much as I’ve missed them, then we are in for a wonderful journey.”
Won’t Hurt Me is the first single to be released from Charlene, and has been streamed over 300,000 times via Spotify. Fans can also download the track from iTunes and Google Play.
Rumor has it Tweet will embark on a small club tour to support Charlene, though no official dates have been announced.
