Tyler’s movies always have some one on crack or infidelity…oh well, sounds like real life to me. I actually like Sanaa’s dress, even though it seems a touch tacky :|

Sanaa’s dress reminds me of the mom from Leave It To Beaver. Very 1950’s home maker-ish

@ oliver, it`s people like you, yes i said it and i`m saying it again: LOWLIFE HATERS that aint` got **** and never will that like leaving negative comments about someone who is a celebrity and has millions. Something i bet you don`t have and never will have . Who cares if you think he`s gay and that you wouldn`t spend your monet watching his movies. That`s your choice but my point is you don`t have to be negative and judgemental about the man because you think he is gay and u don`t like him. He don`t even know who you and don`t even care about your hateful comments. Why waste your time and words on someone that has their life together and is a multi millionaire? Can you not find something better to do with your time. It`s BLACK people like you i feel sorry for because it seems to me that you don`t have no common sense due to your lack of education and is an IGNORANT, ANGRY BLACK GUY who is has a lot of issues deep inside. Try putting JESUS first in your life it wll really help you. You sound DEEPLY troubled and u need help.Responding back to me with negative words, will prove my point even more and i will sit down laughing my behind off at how ignorant you are.

Tyler Perry, I love your movies they are different but the same to. Its different from other movies by it being “family frendly” but deals with the issues that real families go through sometimes. It also teaches that no matter what family is family and you will never have anyone else in the world who will stick by you and have your back. I also respect you for following your dreams and your hard work and determination(sorry guys I can’t spell)from being poor and homeless to a millionair. I may or may not see this movie but you have my respect and support either way. Also I respect you for not being like some other artists and acting like a damn fool always in gossip papers for stupid ****.

I am going to see this movie on Saturday…I love Tyler Perry and his movies. Trust and believe me…I will be supporting him. As far as the ignorant comment about Tyler being gay…if he was or if he is not, that should not be of importance. He is a talented man and is being paid big money for his movies. That person who made the comment is just a hater…like someone once said….The only reason someone would ever hate you is because they want to be just like you. Marinate on that OLIVER!!!

I will be going to see this over the weekend. Every since I first saw the trailer, I have been excited to see this. I really love watching Tyler Perry’s movies. I have watched just about all of them 4 or more times. I love how he is able to mix known and unknown actors and actresses and it blends so smoothly. Hopefully this movie will have that same flow, since there are alot of known actors/actresses in this movie. Also, he has good story lines.

Plus, I get to look at Rockmond Dunbar!!! He is So Fine!!!!

Regardless of Tyler’s ‘association’, he IS an inspiration; his story is an inspiration. And regardless of the opinion of various filmsnobs out there (myself included…total cinephile) his works bring ’something’ good (if not humor at least) to the table. He is an ENTITY unto himself, able to really make moves in Hollywood via stage, tv and cinema. I can’t knock him for that. I’ve attempted (with painstaking torture) to suffer through most of his directorial films. Out of all released I have to say that this one gives the promise of his growth as a writer and director of film. I won’t go see it, but I’ll most definitely rent it.

What oliver said was really low! I think she has graduated from hating to have a PHD- Pull Him Down syndrome! Ithink tyler perry is a brilliant palywright and director and i think his movies are relevant to want people go through in the real world. I dont blame Oliver though she wants to see unrealistic and far fetched movies. I also enjoyed the House of Payne series.
Cant we just see a black brotha succeed without pulling him down?!

I think the critics are upset with the fact that in Tyler’s films, as in plays there seem to be a laziness in terms of writing. Like, there is always the same theme, or a scene from his previous movies in the present movie. And that’s disturbing, it’s like just write something different. There is always a tragedy that is way out there, and his movie always have to teach a lesson, can he just make a movie, without teaching someone for once.

And then there is the ever growing theme of the working man equates to being the good man that loves his wife, spiritually grounded, and the rich man evil and by the end of the movie, will get his in the end. There is the overly spirtual woman who can’t function day to day, ignoring personal issues. and the wise old black woman, i.e. Cicely Tyson coming in to give Black folks food for the soul. His movies are redundant, and if it wasn’t for the fact that his new theme of “interracial romance/affair is included, I wouldn’t waste my money on this. However, watching the clip, it appears as if the white dude is the same , rich dude who is evil, taking advantage of his wife and then girlfriend character.

Note to Tyler Perry not every movie has to be a Life Lesson, just make a movie.

I agree with Bohwe. His movies tend to be extremely redundant. I saw this movie yesterday and while I was watching it I found it hard to get caught up in the conflict and even to hate the evil characters just because I knew they would ‘get theirs’ in the end because its a Tyler Perry movie! AND I found the characters to be so extreme that they were unrealistic.

That being said, I think that there is a purpose for his movies. I always get that ‘feel good’ feeling when I leave and theyre entertaining, not oscar worthy, but entertaining. I also think he is a better playwright than movie maker.
