So, remember when we told you Tyra Banks would be returning to daytime TV in the near future? Well, plans have been finalized and the supermodel turned super-mogul will officially act as host of ‘The Fab,’ a The View-style chatfest, which will officially hit TV screens across the country in the fall of 2015.
‘The Fab,’ which stands for Fun and Beautiful, has also signed on fashion guru Joe Zee, interior designer Lauren Makk, Do-it-yourself YouTube sensation Leah Ashley and Twitter loud-mouth Chrissy Teigen, better known to the world as Mrs. John Legend.
The diverse array of co-hosts will help give the show a “lifestyle magazine vibe,” according to Tyra, who says fans should expect the unexpected. “We know the market for talk shows is crowded, which is why we are trying something new,” Tyra told The Hollywood Reporter. “People are going to be pleasantly surprised when they see the twists and turns our show will take.”
Along with hosting duties, Tyra will also act as executive producer. ‘The Fab’ is a collaboration with Disney-ABC, who expect the show to be huge with younger audiences, as well as stay-at-home moms and more and more Americans who are now working from home.
The show is expected to be syndicated and reach 82% of American homes when it launches September 2015.
