Tyra Banks New Reality Show Gets Picked Up By The CW

Model and entrepreneur, Tyra Banks, who is pictured to your right attending the CW Network’s annual Upfront event, has had her new reality show, Stylista, picked up for the fall season by the network. The new series will be a “Devil Wears Prada”-esque competition show that allows 11 ambitious assistants to taste what it’s like to have heavy responsibilities at Elle magazine by helping its fashion news director Anne Slowey. The winner will get the editorial position at Elle, a paid lease on a Manhattan apartment and a clothing allowance at H&M for a year. Look for Stylista to debut this fall as part of the CW’s Wednesday night line-up.

    I’m glad to see a sista doing her thing, but Tyra needs to do other producing ventures outside of fashion and style…I would like to see her do some actual film producing.

    Who watches this much tv?!?!?! :lol: I mean, no matter the addiction (I used to be addicted to ANTM), who has the TIME to watch so much television anymore? Tyra is doing the media-mogul thing big time. Congrats to her. To those of you who will watch, enjoy it. :smile:

    Oh Tyra is always on point. She is simply beautiful in these pictures. I admire this woman so much and I wish the very best for her with this new show.

    i wish her the best of luck with her business ventures. and yes she looks great in these pictures.
    but……yes there’s a BUT…..am i the only one who is tired of all of these “reality shows”? it’s like there’s no real tv anymore. i’m not complaining about tyra’s new show. but damnit i’m tired of the so called “reality” crap.

    I’ll watch it, sounds interesting to me. I love the Devil Wears Prada, and I wondered if that kind of job was really that difficult. I watch more Reality television than I do sitcoms or shows. Tyra is doing big things and is a true businesswoman.
