The track features rapper 2 Chainz and is co-written and produced by Keyshia herself. The R&B diva calls the song “extremely personal” and says recording it was a part of her healing process.
“I just thought I would be honest,” Keyshia recently told MTV. I have always been honest in my music and so instead of recording upbeat songs and pretending to be happy, I went into the studio and simply recorded what was real and honest.”
Keyshia’s well reported on marital problems take center stage on the album, and will reportedly also be the backdrop for her return to reality TV.
Keyshia is presently shooting a new reality show for BET which will reportedly chronicle her reconciliation with family members, as well as her ongoing divorce from husband Daniel ‘Boobie’ Gibson.
