“True Romance” is Estelle’s first new project since 2012’s ill-fated “All of Me” album became her first not to chart in her home country.
Estelle quickly returned to studio and nearly three years later is back with what she calls her most ambitious body of work to date.
Divided into four themes: romance, courage, passion and bullshit, “’True Romance’ seeks to take its listener through a myriad of emotions one goes though when beginning and ending a relationship,” Estelle recently told Billboard.
Estelle went on to say that musically she had to figure out who she was again and that with an ever-changing musical landscape home and abroad, she chose to skip the pretense and just go with what she knew best.
“True Romance” is available for pre-order via iTunes now and features 12 singles, all either written, co-written or produced by Estelle herself.
