Vivian Green Returns with New Music + Video

Whew, it’s been a while, but singer Vivian Green is finally back with new music.

The Philly native unveiled her new track “Get Right Back to My Baby” yesterday via Facebook and in conjunction with the song’s video, which is directed by photographer Derek Blanks.

The single is the first to be released from Green since 2012 and features a sample of the Maze featuring Frankie Beverly classic “Before I Let You Go.”

Check out the video below and look for Vivian’s fifth solo album “Vivid” to be released sometime in August.

  1. Its a very nice song, but I wish that artist would stop sampling other artist. Its the Frankie Beverly and Maze sample that people will associate with this song. I feel that she should have created her on music on this track.

  2. Nice song!!! I hope she does well, and get good promotion and radio play. This is one of the few places you’ll hear about artists releases that aren’t the usual names. I also agree that the sampling has gotten old, people should just get creative, even tho it’s under-appreciated by the industry. RNB lives on!
