It took me some time to put my finger on it, but it occurred to me this morning that Ciara reminds me of Aaliyah (before the “Aaliyah” album which I loved!)
Ciara is known more for her dancing than for her vocals. Plus her earlier tracks with Missy shared Aaliyah’s flavor too. Just my opinion.

Aaliyah? I don’t know. Aaliyah could like really sing. She had that soprano voice but she could really hold a note. Ciara….uummmmm!
Plus Aaliyah could dance but she was smoother and sexier.
Ciara is a rough dancer but that child could move.

ciara is a better and more raw dancer. the only thing similar to aaliyah is the body type maybe. that’s it.
aaliyah was a saprano but the chick was not a vocalist bless her heart. ciara is more of an alto. the quicker she accepts that the easier it will be for her to dance and sing at the same time. singing they are equal; dancing ciara is better.
