As another year soon comes to an end and we prepare to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with our family and friends, we should take time to reflect on the things that we are most thankful for. It’s easy at times to focus on the things that we don’t have, but it’s always important to be thankful for the things that we do have. If you still have your home and your job doing this economic downfall that our country has been facing, be thankful. If you are in good health and have health insurance to visit the doctor if the situation arises, be thankful. And if you don’t have any of those things right now, be thankful in knowing that if you stand fast and believe, things can turn around for you.
I am thankful for so much right now in my life. I am thankful that I have accomplished many of the goals that I set out to accomplish this year. I am thankful that I am in good health. I am thankful that I have wonderful friends and a loving family. I am thankful that I am here another year to enjoy my momma’s cooking on Thanksgiving Day.
So, what are you thankful for? It can be the smallest thing. No matter what you are going through, even in the most difficult times, always find something to be thankful for.
