What Are Your New Year’s Eve Plans?

I know many of you have big plans for New Year’s Eve, so please share them. Every year my friends head out to the clubs or Times Square, but for about the past ten years or so I have spent my New Years in front of the television watching The Twilight Zone Marathon. It’s like a family tradition now, I have passed it on to my children who love watching the show with me. I love curling up on the couch watching some of my favorite episodes as well as new ones I have never seen before. Even after 10 years there are still many episodes of TTZ that I have never seen.
So now that you all know how I will be ringing in the new year, what will you guys be doing to welcome in 2008?

Not a damn thing. Going out getting drunk aint my thang and hasn’t been for years. More than likely I will be in bed asleep.

Man i wish i had some concrete planz but i’ll be doin what i’m usually doin i’m sure.. home.. chillin’ out w/ the kids.. besides it’s the safest place to be n e wayz.. no matter how much i’d like to be out.. imma be here so i can see 08′ and not be a victim of a drunk driver.. remember folkz don’t drink n drive and call 9-1-1 if u see a drunk driver .. be safe all :dance:

My mama love’s The Twilight Zone and she always make sure to watch the Marathon on ever! new year’s eve”. She’s also has never seen some before 2 each year! that it come on after years of watching it she get’s crazy over! TTZ. Now as for me!.. nothing really “New Year Eve’s” to me it’s like any other day i have…i’ll would be eating tho. if i could find somthing to eat.

I’ll be spending New Year’s Eve at my parents’ house watching movies and eating non-stop! I’m a huge Planet of the Apes fan (the old movies), so I’ll be tuning into the marathon as well. Good message Honeychildpz, do not drink and drive!! Please practice responsible behavior if you do drink. I hope yall have a good safe holiday :smile:!

I will be at home dreading the onset of my last day of Christmas vacation. LOL! The day after New Years its back to the daily grind. Sigh! I still am grateful and blessed, so God is the focus of my New Years Eve.

I usually ring in the new year at my church. We pray for the last 15 minutes, get up and greet each other and THEN we eat at Midnight

Wow! It’s good to know that I won’t be the only one hanging at home for New Years….It seems like everyone I work with has big plans on going out and partying and drinking….Now I don’t feel so square…Home is the safest place to be.

My daughter and I will be watching mtv. I wanted to go out but I don’t have a sitter. I’m glad to spend time with her because she lives with my sister during the week in order to stay in the school of her choice;and I have her on weekends. She’s always a blast to hang out with anyway. Maybe it’s a sign that I shouldn’t go out.
