When the Bough Breaks Trailer with Regina Hall and Morris Chestnut

Regina Hall and Morris Chestnut have teamed up once again to star in the upcoming psychological thriller, When the Bough Breaks. The film centers on John and Laura Taylor, a professional couple who hire a surrogate after their numerous attempts to conceive on their own fail. Unfortunately for the Taylors, the surrogate soon sets her sights on winning John for herself, and well, that’s when the fun really begins.

When the Bough Breaks is part of a three-picture deal Morris, who presently stars on the Fox drama, Rosewood, has with Screen Gems. His next production with them will be 2017’s The Syndicate, which co-stars Cliff Dorfman.

As for Regina, you can next see her in The Best Man 4 and Rush Hour 4. She’s also done guest spots this year on Granfathered, Black-ish and the upcoming ABC comedy remake of Uncle Buck.


  1. It’s “The Hand That Rocks the Cradle” all over again, only with Black professionals. They’re not even attempting to be more creative.

  2. I knew the trailer reminded me of something. But to be fair, I think this kind of movie has been done quite a few times. I’ll definitely check it out just to support my people not doing hood movies. 😆
