As previously reported here, Whitney’s first single will be a Diane Warren penned tune called “I Didn’t Know My Own Strength” and will also reunite the singer with Babyface who acted as producer for the track. So what’s next from Whitney? The label says stay tuned for the album cover which will blow the public away.

  1. I am not sure if Whitney still has the voice that had in her prime, but if she brings her A-game, it will be so refreshing. I am routing for her all the way. Even if she doesn’t sound like the Whitney Houston from the 80’s and 90’s, she has given the music world something that can never be taken away; timeless classics.

  2. Old Whitney was the truth! It will be interesting to see what’s she’s working with this time around! Wish her all the best!

  3. I love the comeback and I think Whitney will do absolutely great. I wish her great success and many blessings.

  4. @ Chey

I’m curius about that too, about how she will sound. But I am excited. It sounds like it will be on the inspirational side. I’m glad she didn’t take the low road and stoop to the levels of the younger women in the industry. And for Whitneys age and what shes been through, she looks damn good.

  5. cnt wait…i wish she can stick to classic rnb,i know miss Houston can sing any type of music, her voice is an instrument on its own and she dsnt need to go the Maria Carey route.

  6. I can’t wait for the album to come out I am buying it the first day.

  7. I’m pulling for Miss Whitney; she’s definitely the best female singer of her generation. She looks great these days, and her new songs that have leaked are hot. She can render a song so beautifully, and no female pop singer who’s come since her has done it better.

  8. Whitney’s is the first CD I will have bought in almost 5 years. I have nothing but love and respect for her; L-rd knows we need some uplift in the midst of this loss. I love how Whitney has truly set the tone for what a female artist should be. A classic black beauty, I await her return! 😀

  9. I am not sure this would be a great come back because the time passes by, with lots of new waves. Being a veteran does not guarantee the hits. But I will wish her the best. Love ya ,Whitney!

  10. Black people just think positive for once. Just once!!!!!!!

God forbid if she passes the same doubters will be posting about how much they cried themselves to sleep.

God bless Whitney. She’s been down, but she’s coming up!

  11. This is not a come back. See that is what you all don’t get about legends they don’t have to do comeback albums. She could have came out and went on tour and not missed a beat. The same with Michale Jackson you have just witnessed the passing of a legend. The man sold out $85 million plus tickets in 10 minutes and these new artisist can’t sell tickets right now and they are suppose to be hot. Whitney was, is, and will always be hot. And that voice is a gift from GOD you can’t give a gift like that away only GOD can take it away. And as professional as she is if her voice was not up to par she wouldn’t be coming out with a cd.
