The show takes place against the backdrop of the 2012 presidential race and revolves around a student (Carter) who discovers his destiny is tied into the twin kingdoms of heaven and hell.
DaCosta has signed on to play the role of Amy, a member of a “very special council” who knows Carter’s situation and befriends him.
YaYa has previously made guest appearances on “All My Children,” “Ugly Betty” and “House.”
She has also made big screen appearances in “The Kids Are Alright,” “Tron: Legacy” and “Shanghai Hotel.”
