The Matthew Cherry directed clip is the product of a competition Michelle held online last month. Williams asked fans to record themselves singing along to the tune to win a chance to appear in the video.

Singer Michelle Williams stopped by New York’s Power 105.1 Breakfast Club show earlier this week to do a bit of promo for her just released album ‘Journey to Freedom.’

Michelle touched on quite a few topics, including the singer’s non-existent feud with fellow R&B diva Keyshia Cole (so old, the media need to let it go already), her bout with depression and her upcoming gospel-inspired reality show ‘Fix My Choir.’

Michelle kept it classy as always, and surprisingly, Charlamagne Tha God was actually polite.

Singer Michelle Williams is previewing new music from her upcoming fourth solo album “Journey to Freedom,” due out September 9th.

Via her Facebook page, Michelle has made samples of two singles available, “Everything” and “Need Your Help.”

Michelle calls her new sound gospel inspired pop and says she hopes fans can feel the love she put into each single.

Singer Michelle Williams has unveiled the cover art to her fourth solo CD “Journey to Freedom,” due out September 9th.

The new album will feature production from Harmony Samuels, Brian Michael Cox, Timbaland and is expected to be released independently via eOne Records.

Previous singles released from the album so far include “If We Had Your Eyes,” “Fire,” and my personal favorite, “Say Yes,” a cover of a popular Nigerian gospel song which features Michelle’s Destiny’s Child band mates Kelly Rowland and Beyonce Knowles.
