Actress Nia Long is joining NCIS: Los Angeles as a series regular, according to a press released just issued by CBS. The former Uncle Buck star will play Shay Mosely, an erstwhile Secret Service agent who is taking over as the team’s new executive assistant director. “Mosely is an experience Washington insider who brings an east coast style and demeanor to the west coast team,” reads the announcement.
Nia Long to Play Jaden Smith’s Mom in ‘Life in a Year’ Film
Actress Nia Long is set to join her Empire co-star Terrence Howard in the upcoming Will Smith-produced drama Life in a Year. The project is a starring vehicle for Will’s son Jaden, who will play a teenager (Daryn) coming to grips with the cancer diagnosis of his girlfriend, set to be played by model Cara Delevigne. Nia will play Catherine, the spouse of Howard’s no-nonsense patriarch and supportive mother of Daryn.
